Auburn Lakes Garage Sale

Auburn Lakes garage sale will be on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 8 am to 2 pm.  To participate just have your sale items out by 8 (but there are always early bird shoppers!)

If you are not participating please keep your garage closed to avoid confusion.

Waste Management Pick Up

Update on Approach of Hurricane Matthew:

 Due to the approach of Hurricane Matthew, Waste Management announces the following Service Alerts for Thursday, October 6 and Friday, October 7.  (If your area is not listed, regular service applies).

• Monroe County:  Regular service.

• Miami-Dade County:  Regular service.

• Broward County:  No residential service on Thursday.  Limited commercial service on Thursday.  Friday schedule will be determined onced the storm passes.

• Palm Beach County.  No residential or commercial service on Thursday and Friday.

• Martin County.  No residential or commercial service on Thursday and Friday.

• Indian River County.  Unincorporated Indian River County and Fellsmere.  No residential service on Thursday and Friday.  (Thursday garbage customers will be serviced on Saturday; Friday customers will be serviced on Sunday).  The County has suspended recycling service countywide and yardwaste service for unincorporated Indian River County and Fellsmere on Thursday and Friday.

• Brevard County. Residential and commercial service will continue Thursday until sustained winds reach 35 mph. There will be no residential or commercial service on Friday.

• Osceola County.  Regular operations Thursday.  No resiential garbage and recycling collection on Friday.
• Orange County.  Regular operations Thursday until 6 pm.  No service on Friday.
• Wildwood district.  Regular operations Thursday.  No service on Friday.

• City of Tavares Friday recycling collection will be serviced on Monday, October 10.

• City of Inverness and City of Wildwood Friday garbage collection will be serviced on Monday, October 10.

• City of Mount Dora Friday garbage collection will be serviced on Tuesday, October 11.  Recycling collection will be on Monday, October 10.

• Town of Lady Lake Friday garbage collection will be serviced on Tuesday, October 11.

• The Villages recycling collection will be serviced Friday, October 14.

• City of Eustis Friday garbage and recycling collection will be serviced on Monday, October 10.

• Ormond District.  No service Friday.

• Holly Hill.  No service Friday.

• Jacksonville District.  No service Friday.

• Polk County.  Friday Polk County commercial routes will be serviced Thursday.

• Hillsborough County.  Thursday and Friday commercial routes will be serviced Thursday.

Auburn Lakes Garage Sale

Auburn Lakes Community Garage Sale will be Saturday 10/1/2016.  Time will be 8 am to 2 pm.  To participate, simply place your sale items out the morning of the sale.  To avoid confusion, please keep your garage door closed if you are not planning to participate.

Santa Event December 9 2016

Santa will be visiting Auburn Lakes pool patio on Decemer 9th from 7pm-8pm.

Children of all ages are invited! Bring your cameras and a great big smile!

It will be a fun time for all.

 

Fourth of July Parade 2016

I heard a rumor about Santa Claus.

Is that Santa decorating a palm tree in Auburn Lakes?

 I have heard a rumor that Santa may be dropping by to see

the kids here in Auburn Lakes on December 5th at 7:00 pm

at the pool area.

I’ve seen him in the neighborhood decorating

some palm trees, but when I approach him, he just

smiles and disappears.

Has anyone else seen him?

I have just been informed by a reliable source who is not authorized to speak that…

The rumor is true!

Santa will be at the pool area on December 5th at 7:00pm.

So all you nice kids come and tell him what you want for your gifts.

And all you naughty kids better come and state your case why you should get some gifts too.

And Mrs. Claus said that there was no truth to the rumor that they were buying a house

in Auburn Lakes, but she said that with a big twinkle in here eyes.  She did confirm that they

did like to take some time after the holidays in the warm weather to get unstressed.

So I would keep my eye out to see if you see them checking out the neighborhood.

I’ve seen them several times.

The HOA Board Meeting time has changed also.

The time of the HOA meeting will be 6:00 pm on 9/29/15.  Don’t kill the messenger, I was just told.

AUBURN LAKES HOA BOARD MEETING DATE CHANGE!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, The Auburn Lakes Home Owners Association board meeting will now be held at the pool at 6:30 PM SEPTEMBER 29, 2015.

July 4th 2015

The July 4th Auburn Lakes Parade was a success again this year.  Even though it got off to a rough start because the batteries in the boombox went dead and we had no music, the kids still had fun.  Whether by golf cart, bike, skateboard, scooter, or on foot: the parade went on.
